EPCOT was the main park of the day. We started by meeting up with
Pastor Kevin and Danette. We had lunch, followed by a ride in
Soarin'. It was great to enjoy the reality of the concept of a "small
world". Us... the Roberts... At the same Disney World at the same
time.. I mean, really. :-)
So, after a great lunch and a pine tree smelling, golfball ducking,
high soarin' ride, we split ways. The Roberts went for some
relaxation. Gammy and Pappy went to take a much needed nap. Meanwhile,
the rest of us Valentines went to Mission Space!!!!
Yeah we were all a bit nervous. The kids, because it was a new and
possibly scary ride. The grow'd ups, because we did this before and
were afraid of getting motion sickness.
Well, we all faired out quite well. No one got sick. And the kids have
a new favorite ride. However, mommy and daddy's only stipulation was
that this ride was a yearly ride. Only to be enjoyed once per year...
Mommy and daddy didn't come out completely unscathed... You know what
I mean??? ;-)
